About Us

Lanita Moss, founder of Birth by Paperwork understands the birth by paperwork process because she has lived it. As a mother of two internationally adopted children—one from Russia and the other from Guatemala—she has collected the necessary paperwork, made friends with her local Notary, visited her Secretary of State’s office countless times and has conquered the USCIS.

Lanita’s passion in life is to change the world one family at a time. As a breast cancer survivor, advocate, and co-founder of the Young Survival Coalition, she learned that with a little passion, a lot of motivation, and the belief one person can make a difference, sprinkled with a bit of humor, differences CAN be made.

Her passion was solidified during law school when, working on a research presentation on international adoption, she realized her purpose in life and that her law degree would be better spent to help create families through international adoption.

Put Lanita’s passion and experience with international adoption to work for you by letting Birth by Paperwork shoulder some of the stress of your international adoption. She knows how you feel, she knows what you are going through, and she wants to help you create your family.

Our Family

Through our adoption experience, we learned that anything that can go wrong probably will go wrong, through no fault of our own. The waiting and wondering were heart-wrenching. If only we’d had the support of an experienced dossier preparation service. That’s why I help others through their adoption experiences. The outcome is amazing.
